What Are the BBFS Residential Academy Trials?

Trials are an essential part of joining the BBFS Residential Academy. They act as a selection process to identify footballing talent from cities and towns across the country. Whether you’re an experienced player or just beginning to develop your skills, our trials aim to assess every child’s technical, physical, tactical, emotional, and social potential.

Why Join Our Residential Academy?

The BBFS Residential Academy is designed to give young players the tools and opportunities they need to grow into professional athletes while balancing their academic pursuits. With programs running from Grade 5 to Grade 12 and even for players above Grade 12 (Under-23 Program), there’s a place for everyone in our football ecosystem.

How Do You Register for BBFS Trials?

We’ve made it simple for parents and players to join the process. All you need to do is:

  2. Download our official Enjogo app (available on both Android and iOS). The app keeps you updated on trial announcements, lets you register easily, and provides follow-ups to ensure you don’t miss out.
  3. Once registered, you’ll receive a call from our team with trial details or confirmation of your attendance.

Trials take place in your city or in a nearby location of your choice—whichever works best for you. And here’s the exciting part: Nothing stops you from attending multiple trials to give your child as many chances as possible!

Eligibility for the Trials:

  • Residential Academy Program: Open to players studying in Grade 5 to Grade 12 (or equivalent).
  • Under-23 Program: Players who have completed Grade 12 are eligible to join.

What Happens at a BBFS Trial?

Our trials are structured like an entrance test, but with a focus on assessment, not elimination. Every child is evaluated by our experienced coaches based on their displayed skills and their potential to grow. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Players are assigned a rating based on their trial performance.
  • Post-trial, the Enjogo app provides detailed feedback on the player’s rating, which determines
    • The applicable fee structure.
    • A relative understanding of the player’s current skill level compared to others.
